Jørn is a London-based digital media pioneer, film maker and journalist. In 2014, he founded communications and content marketing agency ROOM 7540, working with clients such as UPS, Saint-Gobain, Volvo and Maersk, as well as with organisations such as the UN World Food Programme and the World Economic Forum. Previously, he worked for the PR firm Edelman’s energy and industrials division, after two decades as an award-winning reporter, presenter and editor for BBC News, CNBC and Dow Jones.
Jørn currently covers entrepreneurship, technology, energy and automotive for media outlets such as BBC News and Professional Engineering Magazine, and he is editor-at-large at sustainability broadcaster Green.TV. He is a member of Nissan’s Intelligent Motoring Advisory Board, a non-executive director of Swedish PR companies Coast Communications and Rickhamre Hofmann, and co-author of the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association’s latest white paper on automotive fleet technology.
Jørn has also edited text books on financial derivatives for Institutional Investor, and he represented the BBC as a media leader (white badge) at the World Economic Forum in Davos. He holds an MA International Journalism from City University of London, a BA (Hons.) Economics from the University of Leeds, and an Examen Philosophicum from the University of Oslo.
